I have been an educator on the east coast as well as overseas for the past five years.  I moved to the Ajo area in the fall of 2006 to focus on my artwork. 

I was commissioned to design and create hand-made cards for members of the Ajo community and continue with this type of work, enjoying making a personal small work of original art for an individual. 

Having studied and exhibited as an oil painter, I love being in the beautiful Sonoran Desert where I can paint and further explore my medium in this serene and naturally wild environment. 

I am currently a resident of the Curley School in Ajo, and look for future opportunities to pursue both of my passions, working with youth and making art.
