Suzanne Klotz....painter, sculptor, associate professor of fine arts Artist Suzanne Klotz instituted multi-cultural art programs and exhibitions in South Australia with the Ngarrindjeri Aboriginals (Nungas), West Africa, Taiwan, United States, Israel and Palestine. Her awards include grants from the Artist's Fellowship Inc", the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Puffin Foundation, Change Inc., and the National Endowment for the Arts. As a resident of Arizona, since 1978, she has been awarded an Artists 3-D Fellowship, Women Who Create and Educate Arizona Governorer's Award, and a Governor's City Improvement Award for a commissioned park sculpture in Phoenix. ![]() Klotz earned her BFA Degree from the Kansas City Art Institute, and was honored by Texas Tech University, where she earned her MFA degree, as the School of Arts Most Distinguished 2-D Graduate-Student Alumni. She also earned Secondary Teaching Certification from the University of Missouri Kansas City. Her visiting-artist appointments include universities and colleges in Arizona, California, Texas, Utah and South Australia. Her work has been exhibited in over 300 exhibitions since 1972 and is in numerous private and public collections.
