Curley School Gallery Art Exhibit

March 27th 2026 - Ongoing

Tues - Wed - Thurs from 10am - 2pm &
2nd Saturdays from 10am - 2pm

Curley School Creative Campus is celebrating our artisans and artists! This will be an ongoing exhibit as we move closer to the 20-year anniversary of the Curley School Apartments. The Curley School Creative Campus is packed with artistic talent and we will be showcasing as many artists as we can in our Curley Gallery. Art will not be sold at the Gallery but information about the artist may be available if you would like to contact them. Some of our artists are actively vending at various events around Ajo, some are part of our dearly departed Curley family, some have left us for new adventures outside of Ajo and some would just like to share their artistic journey.

9th Tri-National Sonoran Desert Symposium

March 9–12, 2026

Curley School / ISDA Campus + surrounding venues

This cross-border gathering brings together leaders from the Tohono O’odham Nation, Mexico, and the United States to explore the Sonoran Desert’s ecological and cultural heritage. Hosted on the Curley School Creative Campus, the symposium fosters exchange between science, Indigenous knowledge, and community practice.

In Ajo, the event highlights how collaboration across borders can shape the future of a shared desert region. Through presentations, dialogue, and field experiences, participants will examine innovations in conservation, cultural stewardship, and community resilience.
